Cassandra Balzarini is an aspiring Higher Education professional from Massachusetts. A Recent alum of the Dean College theater program, Cassandra (better known as Cassie) will be pursuing her masters in Student Development in Higher Education at the University of Maine at Orono beginning in the Fall of 2015. Cassie will also be working in the Office of Residence Life at UMaine as an Academic Support Coordinator for the Androscoggin Knox Complex. Cassie has a history of commitment to student leadership. She spent three years working closely with the Dean College Office of Residence Life as Community Advisor and Office Assistant along with serving two terms as President of the Dean College Residence Hall Association. During the summer of '14 Cassie joined the Residential Services staff at the University of Chicago as a Summer Conference Coordinator. In the past Cassie has held positions at Dean College as a summer intern in the Camps and Conferences area of the Office of Residence Life as well as Intern for the office of Student Conduct and Community Standards.
When she is not in class or on duty Cassie can be found eating sushi with her friends, long-distance running on the streets, watching the latest episode of Grey's Anatomy or singing far too loud in the shower.
