I am a graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Moore Class January 2013. I am currently licensed in Michigan. I am interested in receiving information about opportunitities for legal work near Hartford, Connecticut.
Currently I am working as the Staff Attorney for the Cooley Innocence Project in Lansing, Michigan. I review cases for post-conviction exoneration based on Michigan's DNA statute.
I am a student of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School Tax LLM program, expected graduation January 2016.
I graduated with my BA in Linguistics and a second major in Humanities, with cognates in French and Economics from Michigan State University in 2009. My thesis topic was the Power of Language in the Supreme Court.
My previous work experience includes 2 years as an intern at an estate planning firm in Grand Rapids, followed by 2 semesters as a student attorney for the Sixty Plus, Inc., Elderlaw Clinic. Most recently I have finished an internship as a research editor for the European Training Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Graz, Austria.
I am fluent in French and have proficiency in Spanish and German.
