Cassandra Thill

Hi, my name is Cassandra Thill. I am a sophomore at Illinois State University and I am studying to become a bilingual/bi-cultural elementary education teacher with a TESOL and Spanish minor. I am a Golden Apple scholar. Golden Apple has truly changed my life! It has provided me with valuable skills that will form me into the best teacher I can be, along with many hours of observation in the classroom. I am also a lifeguard at Turtle Splash Waterpark. I have been working there for five years.

I have a younger brother and sister who are twins. They are eleven years old and are a ton of fun to be around. My family is extremely close and we always love doing things together. My parents are my role models and I look up to them for everything.

Due to Golden Apple, in my future, I hope to be teaching in a school of need. I am truly thankful for the wonderful teachers I have had all of my life and now I want to give that experience to students as well. I hope to be a role model to my future students and to support them every step of the way.
