Cassandra Worley
Cassandra Worley is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Minor in Dance.
Currently she is an Intern with the Peer Advocate Program at WVU that expertly trains students to be live responders for their peers that have been a victim of sexual violence, abuse, and/or assault. The program also coordinates prevention and awareness events on the WVU campus in Morgantown, WV, in collaboration with other organizations on and off campus such as the local rape crisis center, RDVIC.

As an intern at WV Free, an advocacy and outreach program for womens reproductive rights in West Virgina, she conducted Emergency Contraceptive research for the state of West Virginia among the collegiate institutions in the state.
Cassandra did undergraduate research in Yeast Genomics under the guidance of Dr. Jennifer Gallagher. She has observed and shadowed Dr. George Bal M.D., Surgeon of Orthopedic Medicine, in both clinic and surgery. She was chosen to speak with her group on research they had conducted on the effects of plant growth in mine land soil, at a symposium held for the capstone class required for the undergraduate Biology majors at WVU.
