The missing link

To play a board game you need all of the right pieces, in all of the right places. So even if you're only missing one piece, or that piece is not where it's supposed to be, it can all seem off. In a way my writing is like this. The pieces you need to play are the comas, periods, collins, and so on. If I am having a forgetful day, maybe even week, my writing will all seem off. I will have a coma in the wrong place, I will forget to capitalize a letter or use an apostrophe, I may not even bother spell checking it. It all depends on skill, mood, and just a little bit of luck to get it right, to win the game.
