"Once a year, go someplace you've never been before."- Dalai Lama
I am in love with this quote because it is absolutely true and it's something that I believe every person should take the time to do. Go somewhere, anywhere that you've never been, and make it a habit. Once a year, twice a year, however many times you can. DO IT. You won't regret it. I promise.
Welcome to my little piece of the internet! For those of you out there that don't know me, my name is Cassie Sigmon and I am a Raleigh, North Carolina native. I am 28 years old, a 1st grade teacher's assistant, and a grad school student pursuing a Masters in Special Education. I am married to the sweetest, smartest, most fun guy around, Mr. Will Sigmon. One of the best parts of being married to this wonderful man is that it has completely opened up the traveling door that my soul has longed for for so long. Growing up I traveled all throughout North Carolina on family vacations, Disney World when I was 9, a few different amusement/water parks in nearby states, New York City, and went on a couple of cruises to the Bahamas and Mexico. It was these trips that sparked the travel bug in me at a young age. I knew that when I was older and able that I wanted to travel the world, or at least outside of the east coast in the US. Not only did I want to travel, I wanted to travel often.
This blog is dedicated solely to travel tips, tricks, advice, photos, how-to's, do's, don'ts, etc. I hope that my experiences will encourage you readers to get out there and see the world!
