Caston Binger is an educator and school leader from Niagara Falls, New York. A lifelong student athlete, he attended LaSalle Senior High School and played varsity basketball on teams that won the New York State Class A Championship in 1995 and 1996. He later attended SUNY Cortland, where he continued playing men’s basketball and was part of a SUNYAC championship team that made a Division III “Sweet 16” appearance in 2000.

Those experiences helped shape Caston’s commitment to education, leadership, and student development. He earned a BA in Elementary Education and later a MA in Educational Supervision and Administration.

With more than fifteen years of experience in public education, Caston has served as an elementary classroom teacher and has also held school based leadership roles that focus on supporting students and strengthening instructional practice. He has worked closely with building leadership and teaching teams to help foster safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments that promote academic growth for all learners.

Today, Caston serves as an Athletic Director in New York’s Capital Region, where he supports student athletes, coaches, and school communities while promoting strong programs grounded in character, accountability, and sportsmanship. He is passionate about helping students thrive both academically and through extracurricular opportunities that build confidence, teamwork, and life skills.

Caston also earned a second master’s degree with a focus on School Leadership from Niagara University. He values lifelong relationships, mentorship, and continuous improvement, and remains committed to serving school communities with integrity, professionalism, and a student first mindset.
