I am a passionate young professional looking to make a social impact.
My dream is to join an innovative social enterprise in sharing my passion for a better world in a meaningful way.
I am experienced in Marketing Promotions and Public Relations, capable of building an effective communications strategy and social media policy to distinguish brand identity.
Most recently, I completed a Professional Certificate in Not-For-Profit Management at Western University Continuing Education with the goal of learning more about the business-side of the non-profit sector, including best practices and the core elements of what makes social enterprises successful.
I am a graduate of the Media Theory and Production collaborative program, from which I earned both:
-Bachelor of Arts in Media Information Technoculture from The University of Western Ontario
-Honours Diploma in Broadcast Television from Fanshawe College.
This program also offered experience in all Live TV Studio Roles for both News and Talk Show formats, as well as in EFP and ENG Production Roles, from Producer to Packager!
I am able to effectively operate studio and field audio and video equipment, shooting with an eye for effective editing and efficient post-production.
I have grown to be proficient in Web Content Creation and Coordination to and from multiple outlets via social media, blogs, and RSS feeds as a Digital Media Managerat Fanshawe College's internal TV station.
I also have education in Web-Based Publishing via a Fanshawe College Continuing Education course, where I learned web design principles, Adobe Dreamweaver and basic HTML & CSS.
What I don’t know, I am quick to learn!
Currently, I am eagerly seeking meaningful employment while residing in London, Ontario, but I'm also willing to travel or relocate for the right opportunity.
