Catarina Alves de Sousa

I am a 28 yearl old girl from Porto, Portugal, living in Lisbon since 2005.

I started out chasing a dream of becoming a journalist and ended up with a master's degree in Journalism, a couple of internships and a few articles published.

However, what I really love to do is writing and communicating. I also love the thrill I get from helping a product or a company grow, sell more and get a solid customer or fan base. That's part of the job I do at the moment for a portuguse startup (Boonzi) and also for a new small business I'm creating from scratch called You Can DIY.

I love what I do, I love to work, to be inspired and to blog a lot. Reading books and photographing people and old buildings are some of my passions. Oh, and cats.

I am obsessed with Game of Thrones (all the books AND the tv show), Arthurian legends and mythology.

I'd love to visit Scotland more than any other country.
