I completed a dual degree from Chapman University with an M.A. in English in 2011 and M.F.A. in Creative Writing in 2012. I am an Adjunct Faculty member at Ameritas College of Brandman University, where I teach English composition and literature courses. I fancy myself the J. Lo of the writing world, dabbling in poetry, short stories, and a novel, but please don't refer to me as "a triple threat," as it sounds violent and slightly egotistical. When I am not obsessively rewriting and editing my first novel, I can be found reading, cooking, stargazing, making arts and crafts with my children, watching cult films and the last half-hour of B-horror movies, finding foster plants for spiders, and applying literary theory to most all of the Real Housewives series in my head.
