Cat Colman

I am a user experience designer and web developer from Brooklyn. I specialize in creating unique interactive experiences for non-profits, start-ups and socially responsible companies. Currently, I am a user interface designer at Google, where I spend a good portion of my time working on projects for Google.org.

Previously I worked as a Senior Information Architect at Scholastic where I was responsible for the complete re-design of their teacher channel, one of the most popular websites for elementary school teachers in the country.

Previous to Scholastic, I worked as the Senior Technical Producer for the Asia Society, a global non-profit. Durring my time there in 2010, the online department won three webby awards in one year, two in the online education category and one in the art category.

In addition to my full time endeavors, I also take on various freelance projects. Drop me a line if you're working on something interesting and need some interaction design, front-end development, wordpress, drupal or php skills.
