Cate Sevilla

I'm an online journalist, editor, and blogger. (Basically, I write a lot on the Internet.)

I founded the online lifestyle magazine, BitchBuzz.com back in 2008, and before that I worked as an editor at Shiny Media. (And before that, as a store manager at Starbucks in California. I once made Lisa Ling's latte. True story.)

Over the last five years I've written for many online publications and blogs such as T3, Company Magazine, Yahoo! Personals and Lastminute.com. I've also made appearances on BBC Radio, and various TV programs such as Sky News and Generation Sex.

Back in 2007 the Observer Woman named me one of the "New Young Feminists", and Computer Weekly have very kindly included me in their "Great Female Technology Entrepreneurs" list.

I've been asked to speak at Oxford University, TechCrunch Europe's Geek 'n Rolla, and have been featured in everything from the Guardian, the Daily Express and PR Week, to international publications such as Sydsvenskan in Sweden, and the Finland-Swedish magazine, Ny Tid.

In addition to my freelance writing and running BitchBuzz.com, I also founded a series of blogging workshops in London called the Oh My Blog Workshop.
