Cate de Leon is managing editor and columnist at SUPREME, The Philippine Star's pop culture and social media section.

She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Musicology at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City, focusing on Philippine Popular Music and how this was cultivated and channeled in the media.

As a freelance contributor and copywriter, she started getting published at the age of 16. Her work has appeared in The Philippine Daily Inquirer, The Manila Bulletin, Metro Society Magazine, Meg Magazine, High Street Magazine, Cosmopolitan Philippines, Cosmo.ph, and Rappler.com.
