Cate Lincoln

Cate grew up a product of Disney culture. If it weren’t for the pictures, she wouldn’t even remember her first trip, but upon returning to the World when she was ten, Cate got bit by the Disney bug. The sights and sounds of Walt Disney World were the most fantastic she had ever seen. Watching Tinkerbell fly from the top of the castle, spinning in a teacup, traveling around the world, and riding a runaway train through the Himalayas were magical experiences.

The next ten years found Cate returning as often as she could and spending the time in between visits immersing herself in everything she could get her hands on related to Walt Disney World, the Walt Disney Company, and Walt Disney himself. Guide books, trivia books, biographies, movies, Travel Channel specials, podcasts, websites, forums, and blogs served as endless sources to fuel her Disney addiction.

Eventually, word began to leak out about her deep Disney knowledge, and soon she was being asked to help plan countless trips and even play travel guide for WDW rookies and veterans alike. Mousin’ Around is Cate’s outlet to provide Disney trip planning information to first time and repeat visitors and to share a little piece of the magic that is able to put smiles on the faces of kids and adults alike.

Cate is currently a student at the University of Tulsa studying history and journalism. Cate’s work experience includes an internship with National Football Scouting, the organization that puts on the NFL Scouting Combine every year in Indianapolis, and an internship with Rogue Marketing based in Tulsa, OK.

Other things that make Cate smile include vintage clothes, art deco architecture, George Strait, 1960s surf flicks, cheeseburgers, J Crew, looking for sand dollars on the beach, chocolate covered strawberries, mouse ears, American history, strolling through flea markets, the Beatles, Brett Favre, Grace Kelly, library books, and her hometown Tulsa, OK.
