Catha Korshak

I was born in NYC on February 15, 1950. My father was Frank Ashley, a war hero and artist. My mother was Elizabeth Lansing Lancaster, the daughter of William Woart Lancaster from Augusta, Maine. He graduated from Harvard and Harvard Law School. He was a partner at Shearman and Sterling in NYC. I was adopted by my mothers second husband, Mathew Raymond Kallman. I have three half-brothers, four sons and two grand-children. I lived in Roslyn, NY and Dummerson, VT as a child. I graduated from the Putney Grammer School, spent one year at The Putney School in Putney, VT, and graduated from the Windsor MT School in Lenox, MA IN 1967. I was enrolled at Goddard College in Plainfield VT for a semester where I met my husband Steven Korshak from Highland Park, ILL. I was married in 1970 at Lucien Day's house in Craftsbury, VT. I was divorced in 1978. I graduated form Burlington College in VT in 1995, and was a graduate student at the University of Maine in Orono, ME for two years.
