Catharine Cirino

I am not extraordinary, and I am not astonishing. I am just a young adult who is finding her way through life. Given the weary journey from the past came a new understanding of how to view life. Dealing with disorders, illness, and deaths; I managed to find myself at a completely different road than I had first started on. I have dedicated my life to helping others, whether it is through writing, drawing, or talking. I found that because I have been through some tough times, I can use my experiences to help others who are struggling down their path as well. I use my stories to reach out to those who feel alone, as well as using my art to inspire others to express themselves instead of keeping it locked inside. I have always put others before myself, though I have been told many times to focus on myself first. To me, I see it as helping the people who need someone to listen to. Someone to trust. That person, is me.
