SATURDAY NIGHT SISTER

Oakville, Ontario

My personal journey in life has given me a clear vision on my passion to be the voice for women of all ages. I also desire to host events which involve Christian Musicians and Athletes who can share their stories of suffering and redemption. Nothing is excluded.

Blessed to be adopted , my mother was 15 when she gave birth to me, and l too would come to know this difficult trial of teen prenancy. Being pregnant myself at the same age, l would stay in an unwed mother's home in Scarborough Ontario, in 1978 give my baby up for adoption. A difficult time and challenging as l would endure an emergency C- Section. Alone and young, it helped to make me stronger. A loving family would adopt this baby.

Growing up in North Bay Ontario, my brother and l had many wonderful times. My father was an Architect, and my mother a Choral Director. l was out on my own at 17, and then married at 20. Moving to Burlington Ontario, it was there that our children were born. During the years of being at home with them, was one l cherish to today.

In the years from 1988 to 1991 l would experiance the birth of my children Justin & Olivia who l am truly blessed with. They are a shining example of love, for me, and others. During their childhood years, l was a stay at home mom, and that is a season of my life that will cherish forever. The fruits of a mother's labour are seen in her children.

Durning 1989-1997 l would endure the loss of my parents, and my brother to suicide. l also suffered abuse, and l am blessed to have experianced every emotion possible other than anger and resentment. Gaining knowledge and wisdom in seeing therapists of every kind, it became clear to me that a Degree does not equate with life's experiances. It is now that l am passionate about helping others.

My passion is to extend God's gift to me of compassion, encouragement, wisdom, and strength to those who feel they have no hope.

I desire to speak at events of Mental Health, Conferences, Women's Events and in Jails, where my love light needs to shine.

As one who has worked in HealthCare for over 20 years, l desire to educate people about the roller coast ride of medication, depression, and embrace women of all ages.

It is my desire to bring support, encouragement and resources to those who need them....this is what we do when we love others.

Moving forward with the vision that l have been given, l mus
