Catherine Alice Byron grew up in Pelham, NH where she attended Pelham High School, where she was involved in a multitude of extracurricular activities, including coordinator positions and event planning. In 2008, she graduated and transitioned to the Southern New Hampshire University in the fall of 2008.

Since her enrollment at Southern New Hampshire University, Catherine has become greatly involved with the Resident Life Department, specifically as a Resident Assistant. Catherine worked with the residents of the campus, particularly with first year students. This consisted of programming and mentorship for those students. In addition to working with her residents, Catherine worked within a staff of ten.

In the spring of 2012, Catherine graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting. Shortly after, Catherine began working towards her Master Degree in Business Administration with a certificate in Human Resources. She continued her work within Residents Life, but moved on to become an Administrative Resident Assistant to whom help lead her staff members to success in the area.

Currently Catherine works with the Residential Learning Communities at Southern New Hampshire University as the Residential Fellow. Apart from working with the Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator to develop learning plans, Catherine is also in charge of designing and implementing events for the cohort members' experience during their association with the program. In addition, Catherine works as an Administrative Resident Assistant for the campus.
