I have two passions: my family, and my profession as a language teacher.

Teaching, more particularly, exploring innovative ways to engage students in the learning process, is one of my passions. My research in the area of computer-assisted language learning (CALL) relates directly to practical aspects of the educational environment; I am particularly interested in the ways learners interact with computer-supported tools so that we can improve their experience with using technology and ultimately train them to become life-long, autonomous learners.

However, my first and true passion is my family: my two amazing daughters, Jenny and Emmanuelle, and my best friend and partner, Greg. I grew up in France and sadly left my parents, brother and sister when I immigrated to Canada. My heart will ever be split between my home country and the country that welcome me many years ago. I love them both for different reasons.

I build my life creating memories that stay with me, reminding me how precious and fragile life is.
