“The meaning of life is to find your gift; the purpose of life is to give it away….”
As a Career Coach and Intern at The University Career Center, I am granted the opportunity to work one-on-one with students to help to navigate and refine pieces of their career path puzzle. To assist me in the process, I love getting to know each student and learning about their individual interests and passions, with a goal of channeling that inspiration into a part of their career future. Part of my role is to assist in coordinating a weekly seminar for graduate interns and the UCC staff. I will also be assisting in the facilitation of the Education Career Fair & Interview Day!
Before coming to the UCC, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at The College of Wooster (Wooster, Ohio) in Psychology, along with attaining licensure in Early Childhood Education. I am currently a full-time student pursuing my Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology at The University of Kansas. My research interests include families and children, self-efficacy in education, as well as exploring cultural values.
When away from school you can find me practicing my Spanish, hanging out with friends, listening to music, watching reality television, or when all the stars align, traveling.
