Catherine currently works as a Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor at All About Physio - Nerang and Kingscliff. She is also an invited lecturer for the Doctorate of Physiotherapy, Macquarie University and examiner on the MSc in Medicine (Pain Management), through the University of Sydney.
Catherine graduated from the University of QLD and has extensive musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience in public and private healthcare both in the UK and Australia. She worked as an Extended Scope Practitioner in the UK, working alongside Orthopaedic Surgeons to undertake advanced diagnosis, investigation and management of spinal and lower-limb conditions at Guys' and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, London. She continued this work with Central London Community Healthcare Trust and with the multidisciplinary Foot and Ankle team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
She completed her Master in Science (MSc Pain: Science and Society) at Kings College London in 2012, and is one of the founding members of the Association of Foot and Ankle Physiotherapists (AFAP, UK), a not-for-profit organisation.
Since returning from the UK, Catherine has worked for the Northern Private Pain Clinic, and undertaken research with the Pain Management Research Institute (University of Sydney).
