Catherine Caling

Hey, I’m Catherine. I’m a student of communications at Deakin University, specialising in digital media.

I live in Ipswich QLD, Australia, Don't judge me for that, it's actually pretty great out here.

I am over the moon to be the social media and communications officer at OSeyeris. We do amazing stuff by taking accessible design concepts and creating products that are useable by everyone. Our team was inspired by the lack of accessibility in STEM education especial for highschool and tertiary students.

As you may have guessed I am a fan of science especially Biology, Astronomy, and Psychology because I love learning how and why things work.

I am a strong advocator for social justice and equality issues as well as involved in various community engagement activities.

If you want to find me in Brisbane when I'm not at work or with the kids I'm watching the drag shows at the Wickham Hotel, attending LGBTIQ+ events or doing some weird personal development workshop that probably involves dancing or crying, or both at the same time.

Or likely at home in my PJ's working on my computer watching some sort of streaming content.
