Catherine Chiang

Helloooo! My name's Catherine and I just recently graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Managerial Economics and a minor in Technology Management. In the last four years, I have held leadership positions, made a lot of videos, and either helped or led planning a wide range of events for the organizations I was involved with. I also gained experience in social media management, promotional graphic and video creation, and web design and management as an intern for UC Davis Center for Student Involvement. I am currently seeking full-time opportunities in social media and digital marketing.

Growing up in the Philippines and being half Chinese and Taiwanese, I was always exposed to a mix of cultures and learned how to appreciate the differences we have with one another, which made it easier to communicate with people with varying backgrounds when I came to college as an international student. I was able to apply these skills professionally, working with industry professionals, university staff, student leaders, and classmates for projects and events I worked on throughout my college career.

Some of my hobbies and interests include traveling, listening to and seeing musicals (my favorite is Rent), crafting, writing (I want to write a feature length film one day), watching movies and TV shows, going to music festivals (once in a while), cooking, baking, and eating. One of my favorite things to do is trying out new places to eat!
