Catherine Johnson
Catherine Johnson is a junior in the Sociology Program at Southern Connecticut State University. Currently, she is heavily involved in Peer Mentoring through SCSU's First Year Experience Program where she works with an FYE professor to help give first year students the skills and resources they need to succeed in higher education. Catherine is a Resident Advisor in Brownell Hall, a co-ed residence hall that houses sophomores, juniors, and seniors. She has been involved with various organizations on campus such as Colleges Against Cancer, Residence Hall Association Programming Board, and Zeta Delta Epsilon - Honors Service Society.
Catherine hopes to pursue a masters degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs, focusing in Student Development.
When she's not running around Southern's campus, she can be found helping customers at the Barnes & Noble College Bookstore or at her local L.L. Bean, babysitting for her favorite family of little actresses, helping to organize her local group of Appalachia Service Project volunteers, or sitting by the pool with her large extended family.
