Catherine Masters

Catherine Masters is a professional children's artist living and working in Fairhope, Alabama.

With a background in fine arts, animation and illustration, her career in the arts is as diverse as it is flourishing.

Catherine graduated with a BFA in Animation from California's Woodbury University before pursuing her Master of Arts degree in Museum Communications from Philadelphia's esteemed University of the Arts. From there, she quickly began working as an art consultant and marketing associate for fine arts institutions across the United States.

In search of something more creative, Catherine left her career in art business to illustrate the 2010 NY Time's best-selling book, "The Day I Shot Cupid" by Jennifer Love Hewitt. While working on this project she discovered her talent's use in the professional world of makeup artistry.

Combining her skill as an artist with her understanding of style and self-representation, Catherine enjoyed a prosperous career in all aspects of media makeup including film, television, fashion and print for clients across the US, United Kingdom and Japan.

In addition to her editorial features, Catherine contributed to several books, magazines and online publications as a beauty editor, and regularly shared her knowledge in both professional and client-facing educational classes.

A move to her husband's country home and the birth of their two children, prompted Catherine's return to the illustrative arts with Little WHITE WALLS. The name pays respect to her history working in white walled galleries, while honoring the little rooms in which her new work will hang. Little WHITE WALLS is the next chapter in this artist's eclectic body of work.
