Over the last four summers, I have had the privilege of traveling abroad. I have been to countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Turkey, United Kingdom, France, and Amsterdam. But one of the countries I want to visit the most is New Zealand. Traveling to New Zealand is a very expensive journey and once there prices are not much better. My motivation to travel to New Zealand mostly revolved back to my father. He unfortunately passed away a few years ago. He always dreamt of moving to New Zealand, establishing a sheep farm, and living in a rural cottage. While that's not quite my dream, I want to have the experience to get a taste of the life he didn't get to live. Recently, I have started looking at flights to New Zealand and while they are still very expensive, they are well worth the cost. In addition to the flights, I've scoured AirBnb for small cottages on rural farms. I have been looking for a picturesque tudor cottage at the top of a hill on a prairie. And for a week next summer I plan to sit out in the sun, read a book, and watch sheep.
