Catherine Mirabilio

In both her professional and personal life, Catherine Mirabilio is passionate about the culinary arts. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and of the University of New Haven’s dietetics and nutrition program, Catherine Mirabilio has transformed her love of cooking and cuisine into a successful career as an educator and program coordinator. Among her various professional positions, she has worked as the culinary arts department head within the Connecticut Technical High School System, and as the externship coordinator and chef instructor at the Lincoln Technical Institute, a postsecondary facility in Shelton, Connecticut.

Outside her professional career, Catherine Mirabilio dedicates her culinary skills to a number of charitable organizations. A member of the Pontelandolfo Community Club, an association dedicated to maintaining the cultural traditions of the town of Pontelandolfo, Italy, as well as a supporter of such causes as children’s education, she frequently provides catering services for fundraising events. An enthusiastic traveler, she enjoys sampling new types of cuisine on her national and international trips. In her leisure time, Mirabilio researches new recipes and culinary techniques, and grows her own herbs and vegetables for use in her cooking.
