Thanks for visiting my page!
I am an NYC-based certified yoga therapist and dance artist with over a decade of experience in therapeutic yoga with an emphasis on yoga for back care and Scoliosis. I completed my 200-hr Teacher Training from Yogaworks with Natasha Rizopoulos in 2009 and my 300-hr with Alison West of Yoga Union in 2013. I have also studied Yoga for Backcare and Scoliosis under Alison West, Elise Browning Miller and Deborah Wolk, as well as Alexander technique for Yoga Teachers with Witold Fitz-Simon. I am certified in Yoga Tune Up (R) and have completed a year long study in anatomy and kinesiology with Irene Dowd. These trainings in addition to my somatic experience from dance have infused my teaching with an appreciation for alignment within fluidity and a passion for the therapeutic potential of yoga. I have also assisted Dr. Loren Fishman–author of several books on the medical applications of Yoga–and practiced yoga therapy at his office in Manhattan. I teach private lessons and workshops in the New York and Boston areas, and lead retreats in the US and internationally.
I am also a worker-owner at Samamkaya Yoga Back Care & Scoliosis Collective in NYC and often teach in-studio classes there: www.samamkayabackcare.com

In dance, I am passionate about work that is interactive and collaborative. I love physical theatre and improvisational work because of the ways they allow me to engage and connect with the audience and my co-creators. I have had the pleasure to work with a wide variety of choreographers and companies, including Stephen Koplowitz, Sarah Rudner, The And So No Sin Performance Troupe, Falling Flight Project, Contrapose Dance, Lorraine Chapman The Company, The Umbrella Company, and most recently, Chocolate Dances, and the Lovelies, among others.
Finally, as a worker-owner at Samamkaya I have become a passionate advocate for workplace democracy as a tool for social and economic justice. I have been an elected member of the Advocacy Council of the NYC Network of Worker Cooperatives since 2018, and am currently a J.D. candidate of 2026 at CUNY School of Law.
