Catherine Shu :: 舒愷凌

Born and raised in California and schooled in New York, I moved to Taipei in 2007 to find my roots. My emotional search came to a head at a roasted sweet yam vendor, where I ate so many root vegetables I nearly keeled over.

After that, I decided I needed a break from the whole root-searching thing and decided to focus on Taiwan's indie art and design scene as a features reporter at the Taipei TImes. I blog about daily life in Taipei and Asian American identity at shu flies :: 舒飛.
