Cathy K
When I write a paper, I quicky jot down all my ideas without thinking, and then go back, re-read it and start to revise it. I go word by word thinking "how can I make this better". I train myself to put in details and give it the important things it needs to make it as perfect as can be. Without this process, it's just going to start out being a crazy piece that has lots of errors and mistakes. Like an untrained puppy, without the necessities and training that the puppy needs to go through, it's going to be out of control because it doesn't hove the knowledge to make itself any better. With my unedited writing, I go back and give it the attention it needs to make it a better piece.
