Cathy Chao

I am a recent graduate from the Integrated Marketing Communication program at Emerson College which teaches me how to integrate all the communication efforts to achieve maximum value in the current marketplace.

I have gained related experience in different areas during my graduate studies. I have interned in Likeable Media where my social media marketing work required accuracy, creativity and teamwork. Further, I refined my online marketing skills through practicing link-building and keyword optimization, creating E-mail newsletters and developing content for company website during my internship at netBlazr, a Boston tech start-up. This internship triggered my enthusiasm and passion for digital marketing and marketing innovation.

My practical experience has taught me to make creative use of social media in today's competitive marketplace, adapt fast to new responsibilities, work as a team member, and manage my time efficiently to meet deadlines. I am self-motivated and can work independently.

I am especially interested in career opportunities within advertising or brand management in Taipei, Shanghai, Hong Kong.
