Since American Idol became an international phenomena, similar talent show competitions have been sprouting up. The most recent that bothers me (as much as I love) could be the cooking talent show. From Masterchef to Hells Kitchen. At one point in life, I harbored a huge desire of becoming a top chef. I used to follow lots of the cooking show on Television and I can attribute these shows as my source of hope. I did give it a go but only to give up my dream after comprehending that a cook's life is hell. Watching the passion and aspirations harbored by the small children gives me a dejavu.

I might have quit my desire to be a chef however not my passion for cooking. Cooking as my entire life's greatest interest remains unshaken. One reason I love cooking is basically because I've to raise two daughters and one son. Just thinking about the alarming growth in obesity rate among children today is enough to cast serious fear in my heart. I told myself that I have to become a great cook so that my kids would love having their meals at home and I do not have to bring them to such outlets as McDonalds. And that's how I Have been able to preserve and even grow my passion in cooking.

It's clear in my experience just what a difference a cookware can produce and I can say that because I've tried almost all dishes, all types of cooking and all types of materials. But this is a thing that not many first time cookware buyers will be able to connect with.

Out of goodwill, I've been trying to teach this point but I come to a point where I thought the more efficient way of transferring my expertise is probably through writing. Iam a realistic person and I understand how slim my chance will be to land a major contract with the big publisher when I don't have link to any of them. I told myself that I may start writing immediately and I don't have to wait until I have this kind of deal. My blog was born based on such thought. I hope I can constantly improve on my writing much like I've been attempting to improve my cooking ability.
