Catie Bardsley

Catie is a recent graduate of Iona College. While pursing her bachelor’s degree in communications at Iona, she established and displayed large roles in leadership and peer leadership. She was a co found of Iona College Jam band, founder of Woman of Wisdom and the director of Iona College’s Epilepsy Walk. Jam band is a school based band which focused on playing positive songs at different school events. These songs featured mostly Christian artist allowing fellow students to enjoy live music while listening to their peers perform. Life talk was created to help bridge the gap between life and faith while also providing students with a weekly get together to reflect and gain hope. Woman of Wisdom group which met weekly to engage college woman in discussion about their faith, relationships, and decision making. Catie contributed to discussions on a deep level, sharing transparently from her own experiences. As the found of Iona College Epilepsy walk she single handedly raised 1,000$ for epilepsy foundation of Sothern New York.
Catie will be attending grad school in fall 2014 she currently works as a volunteer coordinator and nursery school teacher.
