Catie Curatolo

Staten Island, NY

A Staten Island native, Catie Curatolo is a senior at Stony Brook University majoring in Journalism and minoring in English.

In the summer of 2013, Curatolo interned for the National Football League. She worked in the communications department, working with community relations employees on projects relating to A Crucial Catch, NFL Play 60, the NFL Foundation and more.

Currently, Curatolo is the Assistant Sports Editor of The Statesman, Stony Brook's oldest campus newspaper. Curatolo has been covering sports for The Statesman since 2010. In June of 2012, she was one of two reporters who traveled to Omaha, Nebraska, to cover the Seawolves in their historic run for the College World Series.

An avid reader, Curatolo likes to watch Jeopardy and go to the beach in her free time. She hopes to pursue a career in Communications after graduation.
