Catherine (Cat) Jaffee
Merhaba! I am a Colorado native, a Turkish Fulbright Scholar, and a global entrepreneur. I have collaborated with agro leaders and innovators as an intrapreneur at Ashoka, the Asian Rural Institute, and the Aspen Institute in Colorado, Washington D.C, Turkey, Japan, and Egypt. Since college, I have worked on Silk road routes from India to Turkey studying how to foster peaceful trade, travel, and innovation through historical walking routes. In May 2011, I moved back to Northeastern Turkey to launch Balyolu (meaning the road of honey in Turkish) and learn my first words in Georgian - გამარჯობა - gamarjoba!
