She began as a former Ford Model and became a spokesperson for the industry, a retail editor for Mode magazine and wrote the highly acclaimed how to guide The Ultimate Plus Size Modeling Guide which has helped thousands of young women who want to enter into the plus size modeling field. She is a frequently quoted media expert on the full figured market and has appeared five times on The View, The Today Show, The Early Show, eight times on Neal Cavuto's Your World and many television and radio shows across the United States. She is frequently quoted in major news publications and websites such Crane's Business Week, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. She is Image and Style Director of Divabetic, a charity for women living with, affected by or at risk of diabetes and does her Makeover Your Diabetes Tour. She teaches the premiere image course on special sizes at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She has an image company for the job fair market called Your Image Power and has been asked to do her popular Powerfully Packaging People For Success" workshop at National Career Fairs, Job Expo, Bridge to Employment and the Women for Hire expo with Tory Johnson.
