Erin Meadows

As a baby, my mother would take me along for her Meals on Wheels visits. She later told me the senior citizens looked forward to holding me just as much as they did receiving their delicious meals. Perhaps you could say I was born into volunteerism. As I grew older, I continued volunteerism and there was never any debate about a career in nonprofit work.

For over 15 years, I have worked with nonprofit organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta, the American College of Rheumatology, the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals, and the Rheumatology Research Foundation. No matter what the cause, I’ve seen one common thread: nonprofit organizations have the most amazing and impactful stories. I love to hear these stories, help shape them and collaborate to share them – all to ensure brand awareness, mission delivery and fundraising goals are met.

These stories about the causes that connect communities and reach millions are why I started the Cause Collaboration blog and why I consult nonprofits, associations and community organizations on their communications, marketing and public relations efforts.
