CJ Averwater

CJ Averwater is a Vice President at Amro Music Stores, Inc. He represents the fourth generation at Amro, a company founded in 1921 by his great-grandfather, Mil.

He began working at Amro during school breaks in 1992 and has since worked in every facet of the business, including credit and collections, accounting, repair, sales and management. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Business & Economics from Hendrix College, where he was a UMYF Leadership Scholar. He also received his Master's in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi.

CJ has made presentations at several conventions on topics that include finance and technology. He has served on the NAMM President's Council and is currently serving on the board of the NAMM Young Professionals.
