Caylee Talpert

Caylee Talpert is the Deputy Director of the Pears Innovation for International Development Program where her role includes building and managing the Pears Program’s flagship initiative, the Pears Challenge, which supports the creation of Israeli ventures addressing developing world challenges.
Caylee has worked in a diverse array of positions around the world including serving as National Chairperson of the South Africa Union of Jewish Students, a Goldman Fellow in AJC's Africa Institute in New York, working in a rural village in Nepal and as an analyst for a boutique investment bank in Tel Aviv. Caylee holds an Msc in International Development from the London School of Economics with a focus on business models for the Base of the Pyramid (BoP) and a bachelors degree in economics and finance from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. In addition to her work, Caylee manages the IsraelDev Network, an entrepreneurial community focussing on emerging markets and is active in the African refugee community in Israel.
