Social media has always been a huge part of my generation, from Xanga and Myspace to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Personally, I wish it would have held off for awhile, but being a business major it is easy to see the benefits and great things social media has lead to. It's crazy how easy and fast anyone can communicate or share information through such social media sites. News or perhaps a video of someone singing can go viral in minutes with the help of social media, businesses may also use this for new product announcements or ways to interact with their consumers, which I think is awesome! I've always wanted to take this class and I'm excited for this semester!
