Carlos Bages Riva

My Name is Carlos Bages Riva and I born in Paris in 1952. My parents both Spanish joined Paris after the Spanish civil war. I made my studies in France and decided to work in the Telecommunication industry when I was 18 years old. Then I've got a degree from Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers in Paris (night classes) and upgraded my professional situation from technician to engineer working primarily for service companies like CAP Geminy and then Atos. During this period I've got married and then got my proudest creation: my daughter Belinda. I always been sharing a double culture French and Spanish as while leaving with my parents I spoke only Spanish with them. I always worked and learned at the same time getting degrees from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and more recently a PADE from IESE in Barcelona.

My wife always supported me in looking for new professional experiences and in 1990 we decided to leave in Germany where I spent two years working for a company called Amadeus, located in Munich. Then I spent one year in Madrid and returned back to Paris where I spent 8 wonderful years with a company called BT and it is one of my best experience where I learned a lot with my British colleagues. After two years experiencing new "C" jobs with companies like GTS and Compaq, I've been hired by France Telecom to get their Telco subsidiary called Alpi out from chapter 11. This was the start of my stay in Barcelona in 2000. During this past decade, I built my own consultancy company called Bages Riva y Asociados and also built from scratch the Spanish subsidiary from Neo Avertising.

Today I'm heading another company called all2com (Digital Signage market) and looking for missions that I can deliver within different market segments such as Telecom and Marketing. I'm enough experienced to work on Interim Management missions from CEO to specific "C" ones for companies that have the will to get strategic and management support with clear objectives. Moreover my expert's network afford me to provide enough resources to manage different projects.
