Carlton Finley

I am the founder and owner of CB Finley & Associates. For over 10 years, I have worked at creating an insurance agency that is focused on educating its clients and being a resourceful partner. I've been successful in doing this by implementing the plans and strategies to make individuals, families and businesses make the most of their hard earned money. In short, CB Finley & Associates mission is “helping people protect what is important to them”.

Over the last 30+ years, I have been in the Hospitality Industry. I have had the pleasure of managing hotels, owning and operating restaurants. Also, I currently own Café Blake Catering in Detroit, MI. It has always been a source of joy and accomplishment to help people and see them enjoy themselves, as it continues to inspire and motivate me.

My decision to enter into the insurance industry was because of my Father. My whole life, my Father worked two jobs only so that he would succumb to Alzheimer’s disease and not have what he wanted to leave for his family. I made up my mind that, if I could help it, I wouldn't let anyone fall prey to not being fully informed to protect their family, so that they did not have to decide whether to pay insurance premiums or pay utility bills.
