At twenty seven, I am a passionate, dedicated and growing artist, thinker and doer.
I grew up in Westfield, NJ and have been an outgoing artist for as long as I can remember. After receiving my BFA from Moore College of Art & Design I have had the opportunity to show my artwork in Gallery U in Westfield, NJ as well as Society Hill gallery in Philadelphia, PA. While attending college I exhibited work at Dupree Gallery in Philadelphia, PA and University of the Arts in 2008 . In the summer of 2012 I completed an internship with photographer, Aliza Augustine.
In 2015 I began teaching art to K-8th graders at Good Shepherd Academy in Irvington,NJ. The students benefit from my unique and professional experience in art. I love working with children in the exciting world of fine art education. I am always looking to bring the contemporary art ideas into the capable tiny hands of my students. Children have a grasp into their imagination better than any artist that I've ever met. Working with them to develop that imagination into tangible and complete imagery is a challenge but the rewards are immeasurable!
I also run a successful custom pet portrait business, Paint Your Pal.
