Colleen Clayton is an artist that graduated with a Bachelor of Art's degree in Studio Art with a Drawing/Painting emphasis at San Francisco State University in Spring 2014. Clayton is known for working with multiple mediums such as ink, color pencils, oil, water-color, gouache, final cut pro 7, to Paint Tool Sai. Her artworks are influenced on her daily life adventures and experiences, with a hint of exaggeration from her childish yet grim and morbid imagination.
Clayton has participated in various exhibitions in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her recent artworks, Nothing Gold Can Stay, FFI, A day in a life of ShoeLacey were all displayed at San Francisco State University’s 2014 Art Expo Exhibition. In addition, one of her paintings, the Golden Gate Bridge, is permanently on display at the Artist Hall of Fame Gallery, at the San Mateo County Office of Education, Redwood City, California. Clayton currently lives and works in San Francisco and San Mateo County, California.
When she is not creating artwork, she enjoys reading manga or any books written by Ellen Hopkins or Jodi Piccoult. In addition, she also enjoys watching and 'fangirling' over her favorite television shows such as Once Upon a Time, and Pretty Little Liars. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends while documenting the adventures onto Snapchat.
