I am a mixed media paper artist, jewelry designer, and a loverof life through the lens of a camera! I was born and raised inMilwaukee, lived my life through years spent in Los Angeles andAlbuquerque. I now make my home in the beautiful north woods of the UpperPeninsula of Michigan near the shores of Lake Superior.

Driftwoodfilled jars with sand and stones from the Great Lakes of Michigan and Superior,and giant pine cones from the forests of Mammoth California line my studioshelves. Paper mache bowls and pottery from New Mexico hold my beads;my children’s grade school clay bowl holds my inks, with grandpa’s toolsresting in Dad’s old rusty metal bucket under my desk.

Japanesepapers, Ukrainian ribbon paintings, sea glass from Alaska, all treasured giftsfrom family and friends that share space in the nooks and crannies of mystudio. Pieces of my life and theirs, intermingled, that is myinspiration.

Thestones I select, the beads I string, and the papers I glue, all of them reflectthe colors and ‘texture’ of my life. Each piece of my jewelry, every shrine, orcollage piece, all of my work represents a part of my life now given to you.Pure and simple, to enjoy.
