Meteorology student, storm spotter, storm photographer, and unrepentant weather geek. I am an amateur radio operator, call sign KK4CSR, and am a member of Amateur Radio Emergency Services as well as the National Weather Service SKYWARN family. I use a Yaesu FT-2800M radio and am SKYWARN Net Control on the 2-meter frequency 147.045 MHz located at St. Pauls, N.C.

I operate a weather station in North Whiteville, N.C., using a Davis VantageVue sensor suite, with software by Cumulus by SandaySoft. It reports to the Citizen Weather Observer Program and National Weather Service mesonet, station D4505. The station is live 24/7.

For the past 18 years I have worked as a medical transcriptionist / medical language specialist.

Studying Operational Meteorology (via distance learning) from Mississippi State University.
