Chris Cooper
I'm an artist, a musician a father and a husband. I have been blessed since all of these parts of me have worked in harmony with each other instead of in competition.
I've played piano for over 30 years, including a few stints in church bands, garage bands and high school jazz bands. I owe much of my love for music to my parents and to the little old lady Miss Peyton, who helped guide me in the beginning. Down the road I ran into Dan (Mr. DC) and finally the man who exposed me to Miles Davis and Dave Brubeck....Mr Dave Martell.
Professionally, I have written music for several artists across all genres. From rock to jazz, from pop to hip hop. I love making and writing music. I've also recorded three studio albums. One with The Federalists called "The Way We Ran", a compilation album with Talking House Records called "A Foggy Holiday" and most recently "We Could Be Arsonists" with my friends and bandmates Loquat.
Being in music is fun, and a challenge. The money's great, but not enough to survive on. I always enjoy getitng noticed every now and then in a place where I'm not expecting it. The internet is amazing in that way....it really shrinks the world.
I also am a marketing pro....for over 10 years. I've worked with everyone from the NBA to the NFL. From Sprint to Verizon. It's a passion of mine to communicate to people about how something I'm connected to improves their life.
I love to collaberate. Find me and if makes sense we'll make it happen!
