My aim is to be remarkably consistent in telling a story the right way; the right words, the right framing...the right feeling.
While enrolled in Columbia University, I dedicated my life the craft of motion pictures and began to dive deeper and deeper into the world of film direction and screenwriting. My surroundings afforded me an education by award-winning directors and writers that allowed me to both study and challenge them in an environment that was a cauldron of creativity.
I penned my first screenplay as an intense drama of human experience. The screenplay would become my directorial debut, the short film LIV. It was shot on the streets of New York and produced by Sarah Sullivan for Cage-Free Media.
I've found that every action should have the sole purpose of bringing your audience to a specific emotion. Whether it's through laughter, warmth, heartache, anger, or discomfort, what matters the most is creating that empathy. There is something beautiful about the process of taking those individual moments and placing them together in such a way that the result is an experience worth remembering.
