I'm an ex-cartographer breaking in to the new media and web design world. My experience with map making gave me an edge on vector graphic programs and now i am filling in the gaps. One of the best parts of geography and cartography for me was learning atlas design which involved a high level of information architecture / usability design albeit for print. I'm eager to take my experience to the online world.
