Snowball, gumbo and crawfish seasons are how I know what time of the year it is.

I am a New Orleans native and a citizen of the world with my heart in Cajun Country. I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a B.A. in Mass Communications and a minor in theater.

At a very young age my love for sharing information, cameras and technology lead me to news production.

I'm currently employed doing what I love in Southern California. Previously, I was at the first NBC affiliate station in Acadiana.

At a glimpse, my position may seem bland and repetitive, but my multifaceted role allows for more than just timing and stacking a show. I actively search for visually attractive, informative new content while maintaining a fast paced atmosphere.

I am consistently working to improve viewership, audience engagement on social media, the station's brand, newsroom moral and myself.

I see Emmy's and AP awards in the near future. I've already snagged a Golden Mike Award.
